The next room contains a stairway to the roof. THe view from upstairs on the roof (mind the dge, there aren’t any railings or warning before stepping of the 80 foot pylon!) is stunning, adn you can see out over the countryside all the way to the Nile. A sanctary on the foor has a fabulous ceiling of Mut stretched out over the world. The zodiac here is a copy — the original was stolen and is in the Louvre in Paris.
