Above the doorway is a four-headed ram, which is an Egyptian diety representing the four winds. The strange animal is unique to the Ptolemaic style — a literal interpretation of metaphoric concepts (hence the strange animal combinations and anthropomortphic creatures). This god was originally referenced in the Pyramid texts (from the pyramid of Teti at Saqqara) as “The god with four faces”
